Making Business Growth a Reality!

Who We Are

Claro Trade Finance is a privately funded specialty finance company, not a bank, with a solid background, and an in-depth knowledge of trade finance and government procurement issues. The company was established by Jorge Claro, an internationally recognized Procurement Expert with many years of international and national expertise and Raul Velarde, a seasoned Trade Finance Specialist with a long history in the purchase order and receivables management industry. These two experts and their associates are ready to answer all questions and provide immediate financing to clients nationwide, working on a direct contact one-on-one basis.

While CTF operates throughout the country, its strategic location in the greater Washington D.C. area allows the company to work closely with Federal and State government contractors, providing support and finance to all sorts of companies including government contractors, importers, exporters, distributors, manufacturers and others. CTF is particularly attuned and ready to support small businesses, disadvantaged, minority and veteran-owned and 8(a) companies, providing financing fast and efficiently, and at reasonable rates. In addition, our flexibility allows us to work in tandem with your existing lender or we can assist you in the full cycle of the transaction, from purchase order to receivables management.
